We don't have 30 years in construction

We have a background in hospitality, a father who built things, and an intolerance for the way this industry treats people.

Denis, co-founder of Myrmex Group Denis

Moldova to Greece to London. Dropped out of university because it was taking too long to go nowhere. Spent the next decade in hospitality learning how people behave when they're paying for something and not getting what they expected. Turned out that was useful. Has strong opinions about systems, structure, and why most contractors don't have either.

Artur, co-founder of Myrmex Group Artur

Moldova to Greece to London. Also dropped out of university. Also ended up in hospitality. The difference is he was good at it immediately. The kind of person clients remember by first name three months after handover, which is either a skill or a problem depending on how many clients you have. Artur sells. He will tell you he doesn't. That he's just having a conversation. That is also selling.

We ran a construction company before.
We didn't know what we were doing. Now we do

Thirty years in construction means thirty years of doing it the way it has always been done. The process was inherited. Nobody along the way asked whether it was working.

We didn't inherit anything. We looked at the industry from outside it, found it embarrassing, and built a system from scratch.

That system is the only thing we're selling.
